CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Conference: “Protection of the Baltic Sea waters from land-based point sources of pollution”
Date and venue: 12th of September 2018, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdansk, ul. Bażyńskiego 4, Gdańsk
It is our pleasure to announce, that on the Wednesday 12th of September, the Univeristy of Gdańsk will be hosting a Conference entitled Protection of the Baltic Sea against pollution from land-based point sources, organized by the Royal Norwegian Embassy along with Innovation Norway, the University of Gdańsk and the Marshal Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The Norwegian-Polish Conference will be a discussion forum for high-class specialists in water and sewage management, with particular interest in the problem of sewage sludge in the aspect of environmental protection. The first conference of the Norwegian-Polish cooperation cycle entitled "Environmental Protection in the Baltic Sea Catchment Area: Wastewater – Sludge – Energy” took place in April last year at the University of Gdansk.
The sessions will be conducted in Polish and English (simultaneous translation). Applications for participation in the Conference should be submitted by 30th of August 2018.
