On 10 and 11 April 2018 the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk hosted a meeting of Baltic Science Network partners (BSR INTERREG 2014-2020) which also includes the University of Gdańsk. The meeting was opened by the UG’s Vice-Rector for Development and Economic Cooperation, Prof. Krzysztof Bielawski.
The project aims to raise the level of scientific excellence and innovation in the entire Baltic Sea Region. Strategies and cross-border programmes are being devised as part of the project to assist higher education, scientific research and innovation. The activities are focused on the following three areas:

Members of the BSR INTERREG2014-2020 consortium prepare recommendations and tools for ministries and other institutions responsible for science and research with regard to the development of scientific policy on a macro-regional level in the Baltic Sea Region.
