On 22 November 2017, Dr hab. Przemysław Borkowski, an associate professor from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, took part as an invited expert in a public hearing regarding the new ‘Mobility Package’ under discussion by the European Parliament Committee on Transport and Tourism. 

At present the European Parliament is in the process of debating a reform package proposed by the European Commission concerning road transport. As part of external consultations held by the European Parliament, Dr hab. Przemysław Borkowski presented, amongst others, the results of relevant team research conducted at the Department of Transport Economics and assessed the results of proposed changes as one of six European experts invited.
