Between 12 − 16 June 2017 the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid was the venue for International Staff Week as part of the Erasmus+ Programme. Our university was represented by the Foreign Languages Centre.

The event was designed to provide training to and developing the professional competences of administrative staff in an international academic environment, as well as to promote mobility of students and staff. Such meetings are also an excellent opportunity to initiate cooperation with universities across the world. The representatives of the University of Gdańsk were accompanied by representatives of such universities as the Università IUAV di Venezia, the National Technical University of Athens, Tampere University of Technology, Universität der Künste Berlin, Kingston University London or Tongji University.

One of the sessions was a chance to present our university to a larger forum. It is beyond doubt that such events are conducive to the internationalisation of the University of Gdańsk and provide a chance of attracting both students and staff from many countries, not only in Europe.
