On 9th December 2016, the Polish-French Commission for the ‘POLONIUM’ programme selected 21 projects from those submitted for completion in the years 2017–2018 (attachment 2 in Polish). One of these projects was “Research into the Population Dynamics of Mya Arenaria based on Ecological, Genetic and Biogeochemical Tools” from the UG’s Faculty of Oceanography and Geography.

At the same time, all projects accepted for the years 2016–2017 have been officially extended for another year (attachment 3 in Polish), including “An Evaluation of Changes to the Genetic Diversity in a Population of Pluripotent Stem Cells using Mass Spectrometry” by the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology UG and MUG.
