The purpose of the project “Empowering Teachers and Pupils for a Better Life through Nature” is to devise a modern education programme about birds and nature, available to teachers from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Macedonia and Spain and to provide training for selected teachers from those countries. The programme will comprise the methodology of teaching, prepared by experts, a selection of educational materials and lesson plans as well as a mobile application for primary school children and other teaching aids for interactive work with the very young. The project, financed by the Erasmus+ programme, is being implemented by the Polish Society for the Protection of Birds (OTOP) in cooperation with partners abroad and the University of Gdańsk.
