The Minister of Science and Higher Education has allotted nearly 16 million zł to finance projects by exceptionally talented students of long-cycle studies or graduates of first-cycle studies who are conducting high-level research and can boast outstanding scientific achievement.
During the 5th competition as part of the Diamond Grant programme, 83 winners were singled out (full list in Polish in attachment). Amongst them is Sandra Skibiszewska, a student of the UG’s Faculty of Chemistry, who received 220,000 zł to implement the project "A search for an effective aggregation inhibitor of human serum amyloid A and an attempt to discover the mechanism of its aggregation”.
During the course of the competition, 277 grant applications by outstanding students were considered.
