Between 15 and 23 June 2016 Södertörn University in Stockholm is going to organise a summer school entitled “Cultural Memory of Europe: East and West”, under the patronage of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. Classes will be conducted in English. 

The summer school lectures and workshops are being organised by the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) of Södertörn University and are aimed at PhD and MA students in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Lecturers include academics and outstanding figures from the entire Baltic region.

The University of Gdańsk is the project partner, with one of the co-ordinators of the summer school being Prof. Dr hab. Kazimierz Musiał from the UG’s Institute of Scandinavian Studies and Applied Linguistics.
