A field conference entitled "Quaternary Geology of North-Central Poland: From the Kashubian Coast to the LGM Limit" is due to take place between 28.08-02.09.2016.  

The organiser is the University of Gdańsk in partnership with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the University of Łódź. Conference patrons are the International Union for Quaternary Science (INQUA), the Committee for Quaternary Research at the Polish Academy of Sciences and the  Association of Polish Geomorphologists. The agenda includes two days of scientific sessions on the themes of geology and geomorphology and four days of field sessions during which participants will visit research sites related to the theme of the conference.
