On 28th of March the University of Gdańsk hosted a delegation from Science and Technology Section of Chinese Embassy in Poland- Science Counsellor Mr. JIANG Sudong and Section Secretary Mr. GUO Dongbo.

During the meeting with Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation prof. dr. hab. Piotr Stepnowski and Director for Transfer Technology Office dr. Karol Śledzik the members of the Chinese delegation appreciated the previous cooperation between UG and Chinese educational institutions. Another important matter was the situation of scientific research, as our partners are involved to promoting China-Poland collaboration in science and innovation. Due to help further promote this field of cooperation, Mr Counsellor  recommended program for young scientists - an international mobility scheme, funded by the Chinese government: Talented Young Scientist Program (TYSP).
