Dr hab. Robert Czajkowski has been invited to serve in the role of ambassador for the International Society for Microbial Ecology.

ISME is the largest scientific society concerned with microbial ecology. It supports the exchange of scientific information through the organisation of international symposia and workshops, sponsoring publications and promoting education and research. ISME does not only benefit the scientific community but is also involved in close cooperation with other key scientific organisations, having established effective academic interactions in all geographical regions by means of a network of scientific leaders who serve as local ISME ambassadors.

Each country has only one such ambassador and it is therefore a great honour that a UG representative, Dr hab. Robert Czajkowski, has been invited to fulfil this role.
