It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to a friend of the University of Gdańsk

Mayor Paweł Adamowicz 

A  graduate of the UG’s Faculty of Law and Administration and Vice-Rector between 1990-1993  

A lawyer, politician and opposition activist and, above all, a local government official recognised all over Poland, who for 20 years faithfully served as Mayor of the City of Gdańsk.

Deeply moved by his death, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Dear Mayor, dear Paweł, we shall miss you.
