Following the results of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 by subject - Social Science, published in mid-October 2018, in which the University of Gdańsk took third place amongst Polish universities, the time has come to publish the ranking results in further disciplines.

In the category Arts and Humanities 2019 the University of Gdańsk can also boast third place amongst Polish universities and a place in the fourth hundred in general.

In the category Life Sciences 2019 the University of Gdańsk has come fourth in Poland (with a place in the sixth hundred for all universities).

Each of the rankings considers 13 indicators, on the basis of which the effectiveness of a given university’s activity is assessed.

It should also be mentioned that the University of Gdańsk is the only university from the Pomeranian region to have featured in these ranking lists.
