On 30 October 2018, a group of over thirty secondary school pupils from a language school in Kaliningrad paid a visit to the UG Campus in Oliwa. The group visited selected sites around the Campus, including the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Law and Administration and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The young people and their teachers were most impressed by the Museum of Amber Inclusions, the Museum of Criminalistics, the Radio Mors studio and the new television studio. The trip finished with a walk and a short break in the Ecopark. Those guests interested in coming to Poland and starting their studies here asked many questions concerning exams and student homes, as well as student life in the Tri-City. The visit of the secondary school students from Russia is the result of cooperation established by the UG Promotion Section during the Festival of Polish Culture in Kaliningrad. At the end of November 2018 another youth group from Kaliningrad is expected.
