Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Prof. Dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski and Vice-Rector of the Nanyang Normal University Prof. Kan Yunchao have signed a bilateral agreement on academic cooperation with regard to the exchange of research staff, students, employees, as well as joint research and publications.

The delegation representing the Nanyang Normal University also comprised the deans of the faculties of Economics, Management, Mathematics and Informatics.

The Nanyang Normal University is an institution founded in 1907 and one of top ten universities in Henan province in China. It boasts 24 research institutes and 26 laboratories. Future cooperation between the universities will focus on involving doctoral students in innovative research in both institutions. The guests expressed keen interest in the University of Gdańsk’s policy regarding attracting and educating talented young individuals. The delegates also paid a visit to laboratories and became acquainted with the latest research projects at the Faculty of Biology.
