The Graduate Society of the Sopot Academy of Maritime Trade, the Sopot Academy of Economics, the Faculty of Economics and the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Prof. Bernard Lammek, extend an invitation to the 70th Anniversary Reunion of Graduates of the Sopot Centre for the Economic Sciences. The reunion will take place on 25 June 2016 at the University of Gdańsk’s Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Management in ul. Armii Krajowej.

Honorary patrons of the reunion are Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk, Mayor of the City of Sopot Jacek Karnowski, the Polish Economic Society and the Institute for Market Economics.

The reunion will provide the opportunity to renew old acquaintanceships from student days, but the organisers have also planned a panel of graduates to present the profiles and achievements of figures from business, science, emigration and political circles who studied in Sopot economic institutions. Current University of Gdańsk students will also be presented and will have their own panel headed by Professor Dariusz Filar. The Graduate Society will also be awarding cash prizes to science circles taking part in a competition for the best paper.
