eduroam is an international project, which goal is to provide safe wireless connectivity.
This system is being developed on universities and other institutions all over the world. Maps of places that eduroam is available can be found on international eduroam webpage.
How to use eduroam?
People from other institutions that use eduroam

Students and faculty members should connect to eduroam just like they do in their home institution.

Devices should connect automatically, but in some cases (mostly Windows 7 or older) might require prior installation of our main certificate: Main Certificate for UG
People from schools that don't use eduroam and guests of University of Gdańsk

Guests invited by University of Gdańsk and students from educational institutions that don't use eduroam may be provided with access to UG_Guest network.

Guests should ask the head of the department that invited them to write a request to the Director of Computer (with guest's name, surname and period for which they will be staying).

Students on exchange programs should write a request to eduroam@ug.edu.pl from e-mail address registered on their Student's Portal.

Employees on civil contracts do not have full access to Employee's Portal and should ask the head of their department to write a request to the Director of Computer Center (with employee's name, surname and period for which they will be working here)
