Description

The Master’s programme in Finance and Accounting is closely aligned with business practice and the needs of modern financial markets in Poland and internationally. It develops advanced analytical and managerial competencies in corporate finance, investment management and valuation (including alternative assets), and the analysis of capital and derivative instruments in a global context. Students benefit from teaching by academic faculty and recognised practitioners, with business partners contributing to the curriculum and learning methods. The programme also supports preparation for the upper levels of the CFA Programme and strengthens key professional skills such as teamwork and high-impact presentations, preparing graduates for managerial careers across the financial sector.
 
DURATION: 2 years (4 semesters)

  • Banks & financial institutions: credit analyst, risk analyst/manager, treasury specialist, ALM analyst, financial products specialist
  • Listed companies & corporate finance departments: FP&A analyst/manager, corporate finance specialist, controller, treasury manager, reporting/IFRS specialist
  • Investment funds & asset management: investment analyst, portfolio analyst/associate, fund analyst, research analyst
  • Capital markets & brokerage/market institutions: equity/derivatives analyst, capital markets analyst, sales/trading support, market intelligence analyst
  • Advisory, valuation & audit: transaction services analyst, valuation analyst, M&A/CF advisory analyst, audit/assurance specialist

The CFA-oriented profile additionally supports career paths that require internationally recognised analytical standards and progression in professional qualifications. The programme indicates preparation for CFA Level II.

Acceptance criteria

Holders of bachelor or master diploma in any field are entitled to apply.
 
Acceptance criteria:
  1. Diploma grade* (max. 75 points)
  2. English language certificate (max. 25 points): 
  • CPE, CAE with grade C at least, C1 Business Higher with grade C at least or TOEFL with 94 points or higher, issued within 2 years prior the recruitment - 25 points
  • FCE with grade C at least, B2 Business Vantage with grade C at least or TOEFL with 72-93 points, issued within 2 years prior the recruitment - 15 points
 
 
*Grades from foreign documents will be converted to Polish grading scale by a relevant office.
