The Technology Transfer Centre of the University of Gdańsk has linked up with YouNick (previously Nickel Technology Park Poznań) with the aim of commercialising the research and development work carried out by the university. YouNick is an investment fund which sponsors innovative enterprises in the fields of Life Science, pharmaceutics, biotechnology, ICT and IoT. As part of the agreement, University of Gdańsk academics will have the opportunity to obtain free consultation on their undertakings with regard to financing, recognising market conditions, devising paths to commercialisation, techniques for developing commercial products and services, business models and strategies for managing and commercialising intellectual property.
