The Head of the Ministerial Council, Beata Szydło, has appointed Professor UG, Dr hab. Marcin Zieleniecki from the Faculty of Law and Administration as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

Professor Marcin Zieleniecki specialises in social security law, including social insurance. He has already been active in public and social life. He is a board member of the Polish Society for Social Insurance, the Polish branch of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law, as well as  the Insurance Council with the Spokesman for the  Insured. For many years he was a member of the Collective Bargaining Committee with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

As Undersecretary of State, he will be responsible for social insurance and for coordinating social security systems.
