The UG Student Photographic Agency is the largest group of photography enthusiasts in the region. When it first started, it only included students from the University of Gdańsk. Now it boasts representatives of all the university-level institutions in the Three Cities, including the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk technical University, the Gdańsk Medical University, and the Maritime Academy.

The Agency concentrates around self-development in the field of photography and the popularization of photography in the Three Cities and the region. Besides meetings, shows, and exhibitions, the Agency organizes lectures and open workshops; it also cooperates with regional NGOs, and organizes photographic competitions. It plays a full part in the life of the University, chronicling it in photographs.
