Description

Finance and Accounting programme with a specialization Financial Analyst prepares you for careers in corporate finance, banking, and capital markets by combining strong fundamentals with hands-on analytical training. Grounded in micro- and macroeconomics and financial mathematics, you build expertise in financial accounting and reporting, learn to interpret financial statements, and develop decision-making skills in corporate finance and taxation. The programme strengthens your quantitative toolkit through mathematical statistics, econometrics and forecasting—so you can turn data into clear financial insights using widely applied analytical IT tools. You also explore financial markets, asset valuation, portfolio analysis, and investment decision processes, including derivatives, alternative investments, and risk management, with an introduction to auditing and business law. With diploma seminars and a substantial internship component, you graduate ready to work with real-world financial problems and professional standards, including in international environments.
 
DURATION: 3 years (6 semesters)

  • CFA-oriented pathway – the programme is positioned as building knowledge and competencies aligned with international analyst standards, supporting preparation for a professional certification route.
  • Strong data & quantitative foundation – it develops evidence-based decision-making skills through statistics, econometrics and forecasting.
  • Markets and investing in practice – it covers portfolio analysis, valuation logic, market analysis, derivatives and alternative investments, reflecting the real toolkit expected from junior analysts.
  • Corporate finance and valuation skills – it strengthens competencies used in corporate finance, controlling, advisory and M&A, including investment appraisal and value creation thinking.
  • Risk, governance and ethics – it integrates risk management, corporate governance and ethical decision-making—critical in regulated financial environments.
  • Employability focus – it combines a substantial internship component with a thesis pathway designed to demonstrate practical analytical skills and job-ready outputs.

  • Listed companies & corporate finance- financial analyst, FP&A analyst, controlling specialist, corporate reporting support.
  • Banking & financial institutions –analyst position in banking (e.g. credit/financial analysis), risk and decision-support positions.
  • Investment funds & capital markets – entry-level roles in investment analysis and portfolio support.
  • Market monitoring / oversight organisations – analytical positions in market monitoring institutions.

Acceptance criteria

High school diploma grades and exams results (if available in a given country) in following subjects:

One out of following five: Geography, History, Computer science, Polish, Social Science/ Civics 0,3

 

Grades from foreign documents will be converted to Polish grading scale by a relevant office.

 

Additional entrance exam* checking the knowledge to undertake studies (scope of the exam: mathematics - at a level comparable to the Polish Matura exam (basic level)). Failing the exam results in disqualification from the recruitment proces. Exam will be conducted online.

*Applies to non-EU citizens holding foreign high school diploma, except holders of:

  • IB (International Baccalaureate)
  • EB (European Baccalaureate
  • high school diplomas issued within the education system of one of EU, EEA or OECD member states
  • high school diplomas recognized on the basis of bilateral agreements on mutual high school diploma recognition with Poland
